Dear Walmart Great Value, and Walmart Great for You,

Collard greens and kale are by far the most nutritious vegetables in the American marketplace. Spinach contains antinutritional factors. You have discontinued collard greens and kale from the frozen food case. I am deeply saddened and relatively malnourished because of this.

I think it should be a priority that you carry frozen collard greens and kale because they are the most nutritious. Please carry them again.

That was quite a bumbling conversation we had.

Aside from that, I learned from my brother Dan in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; that tribute to poor lifestyle choices, his spouse Diane is having surgery for breast cancer, and Dan is having abdominal surgery. We exchanged fairly lengthy letters. Breast cancer is rampant in the high fat western diet countries, and very unusual in countries having the lowest dietary fat intake; and there is a consistent linear correlation between dietary fat intake and breast cancer incidence among the intermediate countries between the high and low extremes.

Anyway, I had a 5 oz can (3 or 4 oz of product after drain) of Great Value pink salmon. I had always thought Salmon was too oily and so had avoided it for a long time. To my surprise it was a great product, perhaps a change in preparation, only 1 gram fat reported on label and it seemed true. Salmon is among the few fish that contain almost no mercury, so it is great to find a product that provides the "meat factor" that is nutritionally necessary.
