Multiple Chemical Sensitivity Etiology
Airway Genetics and Ambient Combustion Aerosol
Hi Isis,
Thanks for your response to Letter to Friends http://mcsmultiplechemicalsensitivity.ning.com/forum/topics/letter-to-friends
My point is that we are all destroying the earth by our everyday poor lifestyle. I don't like to say "we" - because I want no part of it. There is no future in the everyday driving - instead of walking - high combustion and consumption behavior. That alone will end life for humans.
A problem like Monsanto is growing in a fertile field of the general attitude. If the motor vehicle habits continue - there is no hope for the environment. That is why the blame game is a waste of time.
I ask you Isis and everyone to fess up to this reality - that your lifestyle duplicated billions of times is imcompatible with a future for humans. It is hypocritical to blame specific entities and it has never worked - everyday the world is worse because of the weight of individual behavior. Most of the food in which Monsanto's product goes isn't worth eating - most food on the market is junk food.
The blame game is a distraction - making no demand on oneself to make the individual changes that are necessary for humans to have a future.
I have tried repeatedly asking everyone to pull together for a better lifestyle - but the answer basically is: I will live in a way that is incompatible with a future because I want to - and so long as extinction is the day after I die - then I don't care.
If I say how about right and wrong - and truth - you say morality isn't important. People are living without a conscience. You're right they are crazy and irresponsible - but so is anyone who lives the basic happy motoring lifestyle and all of the worthless. wasteful traditions. I am amazed at this - the level of dishonesty in terms of both omission and commission.
There is a coldness and lack of kindness in continuing habits that are clearly destructive. Blaming the most notorious offenders leaves little left over for building an alternative - a field in which such offenders cannot grow. We must learn and change from this lifestyle and consume less - or extinction.
Best wishes to you, Mike
