Environment unnoticed?

I think it is important to be honest and care about consequences. Nutrition, environment, health, and disease has required a study of credible information. Proper interpretation of primary research material and secondary reviews without conflict of interest requires honesty, therefore it seems necessary to go back, not to controversial religious dogma, but to the basics of God and morality.

Referring to God is intended non denominational.
Evolutionary theory proven inadequate, scientists having determined that chance mutations can't account for the miracle of creation, instead the term intelligent design has been used; all things are created and further become; miraculously, intelligently determined, on the smallest scale; and at the level of people, places, and things; miraculous coincidence of events or messages; a mysterious spirit, energy, or other form; emerging, integrating, inherent, everywhere present; as if from another dimension, universe, or unimaginable place; all knowledge, wisdom, control, and power, yet precise to the detail and thoughts of each person.
I know it sounds like a fish story, but amid the seeming chaos, including the show of evil behavior in so many forms, there is a path defined by its evil opposite. The guiding light is making good moral decisions.

Love your neighbor and commandments as moral guidelines, basis for the present day code of law, spread widely 2000 years ago from the Roman Empire to the Far East, with the most popular religions of the World preaching love your neighbor. When you realize accountability to God for how you treat people, it is a great motivating factor. Our conscious decisions exercise only limited control of what happens; the basis for the decisions and consequences is a complex orchestration of life experience determined by God pulling the strings. If and when you see it, or maybe you already have, it's like whoa, wow!

The presence of suffering, evil, and death is difficult to reconcile; however, given the miracle of creation, becoming, and morality; it is good faith to follow the path of love; and not far out to believe God loves you and heavenly life may exist. Given all the evil in the world there often may seem serious cause for doubt, but I know in my life there is a pattern where miraculously determined circumstances have been in return for mistakes made.

Today the profit motive often conflicts with love of neighbor.
Morality has been so poor that health cost in the US has risen to a boggling $12,000.00 person/year.

To stay active, I have a brown rice based diet with lots of green vegetables, especially kale and collard greens.
It came to my belated attention that rice carries a high concentration of inorganic arsenic (iA). It is estimated that the concentration of iA in brown rice can be reduced 54% by bringing water to a boil in a covered pot (4 cups water per cup of rice) then add the rice, allow to boil 5 minutes, pour off the water then replace the water at a quantity about 2-4 cups of water per cup of rice and complete the cooking in the covered pot as you normally would allowing the rice to absorb all the water.
Inclusion of 3 to 4 ounces of the meat factor group: fish, meat, or poultry, all support maintenance of muscle carnitine transport capacity and provide necessary B-12 and "meat factor" iron absorption enhancement, otherwise a suboptimal borderline anemia develops: about 10.5 to 11.5 on a normal range of 13 to 18; a good limit is 4 ounce maximum average daily because mercury and unsaturated fatty acids (oils) of fish, saturated fat content and somewhat higher cholesterol of meats, and total animal protein intake may become too high leading to a wide range of degenerative disease including atherosclerosis. Many may prefer to avoid red meat; and it is not necessary, fish fulfills the same requirement. Some vegans seem to be doing well while foregoing the meat factor group; I haven't learned how they are doing it.

Optimal dietary substrate for continuous 24/7 bacterial enzyme digestion of the large intestine is best for health; a poor microbiome can lead to systemic endotoxemia (bacterial fragments enter the circulation) contributing to liver and thyroid disease; and too much viscous fiber (adhering, gel forming) can flatten the small intestinal villi interfering with the several hour after meal period of secreted enzyme digestion and absorption.

Added fats/oils, sugar, and refined grain result in health problems; but indiscriminate selection of vegetables and grains can get sloppy; the most well intentioned person can be greatly frustrated that way.

I have walked, hiked, or ran at least 80,000 miles in my lifetime. Walking is the fundamental great foundation. Jogging or running for a small percentage of distance is a good highlight, but running isn't for everyone in all circumstances, and I wouldn't pressure anyone into going running. It is possible to overdo running, or excessive walking on hilly or steep terrain. Running "damages" the muscles in such way that the body releases substances systemically to repair the damage, but in so doing those substances repair the brain and liver: a system wide rejuvenation mode. And of course there are other things running does: building greater strength, more thoroughly warmed up with rapidly penetrating circulation, and refreshes walking on the days that follow. Greater flat distance, either walking or running, is actually better than a shorter distance of more hills.
Running intensely up a steep grade is made possible by lack of interference by dietary gremlins. Distance is more important than a steep hill; the hill became an experiment of seeing how foods affect ability to do sustained intense exercise. To hold the uphill intensity no matter how steep or long was made impossible with added fats and oils sludging blood components; white spaghetti, due to lack of hydrating fiber to hold water in the large intestine, resulted in some headache and dehydration; on contrast brown rice is just right with its abundance of hydrating fiber.

I am a dedicated, devoted person; people who know me have been complimentary. In person I am not pompous; instead more like a humble player or servant who tries to make it good as possible for everybody; however, when I attempt to write about a subject of some complexity it seems people may misunderstand; I'm just trying to help with good information so they don't get sick, and it nearly scares me that I have not met the love of my life. I am very humble, affectionate, and unpretentious.

I have lived out in a vehicle for over 35 years of my life on the most beautiful public land in the US. However, it has been difficult for a number of reasons. I like to appreciate and seek the positive. I am chemically sensitive and live in the outdoors away from city or town because I need the clean air. However, in sharing life with someone, I expect living out in a vehicle does not provide the comfort level; I support moving into a house such as an abandoned farm, ranch, or other house separate from other development.

It comes back to basic morality again; most important is kindness extended among people.
I appreciate constructive criticism because it gives the opportunity to improve. Best wishes to anyone reading this profile. This isn't about one way religion or dogma, but I believe kindness is most important.

I was born Jung's introverted intuitive, a typological subset of the population genetically sensitive, in a northern suburb of Baltimore, MD (Lutherville Timonium).
It's boggling all of the exposures and my genetic vulnerability. Tobacco and wood smoke, exhaust, household and personal care products, cleaning chemicals and floor finishes, phenolic and quaternary germicides, aerosol pesticides, tire fumes, and gasoline vapor; all happened; and 95% or more of the exposure has been unnecessary. I melt down when exposed to combustion byproducts, such as vehicle exhaust or smoke. When exposed I wear a Moldex  2300N95  disposable respirator with added nose clips ( a NIOSH rated particulate mask with an exhalation valve allowing good breathability no matter how intense the exercise). A PM respirator reduces the immediate effects and hangover.
I can't live in town or a neighborhood. The environment seems forever worsening and the population growing, apparently on the brink of extinction, but most people don't seem to notice it as much of a problem...but $12,000 a year in health cost much due to environment and nutrition?

Hello Mike,
The sensors are at this point only for Particulate matter, and the Air Board in California has several such projects (LA, Central Valley, new one in San Francisco, East Bay near highways). The sensors are in the process of decreasing in price rapidly, and the ones we're making will cost about 500 to 700 to make. These are for the particulates that cause asthma and respiratory problems for people who aren't MCS- not for VOCs which is actually more expensive and difficult to sense.

"That seems totally strange that you can just go in and change things around on Wickieup - you can just erase anything?"

Well Wikipedia was originally set up for the people, by the people, but of course got trolled etc., so they employed paid moderators but they obviously can't watch everything all the time.   I checked the page I changed.. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leonard_Cohen - there are 'edit' links in blue all the way down that page - you can just go in and change the text without registering.  However on the MCS page there was just one edit link to change a list of references, you are required to register with Wiki in order to change anything else it seems.  So I guess some sections of Wiki are more moderated than others.

Hi Mike, yup I've changed a couple a Wiki pages in the last 6 months or so, but I didn't need to be registered.   Seems you have to register now, at least on the MCS page .. the pages I changed involved a couple of musicians I happened to be interested in, one page had an abusive comment on it so I took it out, the other said Leonard Cohen had just died when he obviously hadn't..lol

Hi Mike, thanks for your response. I think Wiki's changed their system since I last edited a page, you have to sign up and be logged in.  There's still an 'edit' button bottom right but it only applies to a short list of references..last I did it you could edit a whole page.   I've just been told by a few others it's a waste of time trying to edit Wiki anyway, its been tried but anti-MCS (chem and psych) just change it right back.  This is something I've never understood about scientists who are supposedly the most objective & logical of individuals, yet if something threatens a nice neat pattern they've already got in front of them they start fighting a war of attrition.  It has nothing to do with wars! - we're all on the same side trying to discover new truths.  Maybe these days it has to do with "follow the money"

Hi Mike, I just picked up an email from you -  yep I think this was probably a bit of a goldmine for EI's Matt, he wondered where you'd been hiding all this time.  :)   I'm not a scientist unfortunately but I admire anyone that's fighting this thing on any level.   I was wondering if you'd looked at the Wikipedia page for MCS?   I've had specialists look up Wiki as their sole source of information when they know nothing about it (which is most of the time) - I reckon we should keep that totally updated.   I've edited Wiki before but I would want the MCS page to be absolutely solid with its science & I don't think I'm capable of doing that..  :s  Jodie

Michael, I have just noted your responses to a member (Princess) re adding as a friend.  I have just done that, but without thought.  What is your advice on this. Thanks, Cheryl.

Nothing to apologize for, Michael.  I was diagnosed with MCS/Chronic Fatiguein 1988, 7mths pregnant with my first child. I was exposed to fresh paint fumes a few days later and suffered a massive 3 day reaction.  My child was compromised by this, and showed reactions from an early age becoming much worse after the MMR vaccination.  This was done with hesitation, as I was still learning about all the possible ramifications of so many things. My second son was fine until we moved to a mountainous area - woodsmoke was all pervasive and I tested as having almost no tolerance to this.  Farmers sprayed their crops (avocados) and burned broken styrofoam boxes.  Eldest was very reactive to one group of mould spores.  Natural therapies (kinesiology) showed how his body had gone into shock with the paint exposure, and hadn't bounced back. Many moves (usually due to now ex's job), more exposures - creosote, aerial spraying, pesticides in rental homes, fertilizers, living near army practice ranges, etc. etc.  Ex also had tests done and had food and environmental sensitivities (not as severe as mine and eldest son's) but he could not accept that, therefore couldn't accept our condition. Lack of support, abuse, having to flee from Govt. agencies due to children not being able to attend school (even though I had a medical/legal document) have caused diagnosed PTSD (eldest also), and have all added to the mix.  My Mum suffered asthma, and had the lungs of a smoker but had never smoked in her life (Dad did).  I found out later  that Mum had a number of sensitivities (mould spores, paint, pollution, etc.). Dad passed away from mesothelioma (he was a carpenter).  Ex was told by leading specialist that his genes were implicated as well in our children's health, after taking a thorough family history, but his ego got in the way.  That is just a very short synopsis of our past.  I have a book in me, but talking or thinking about it, at times, can be overwhelming.  We do not have funds to pursue any health treatment, so it is a day-to-day situation. Wishing you all the best, Michael.  If I have gone on too long, I apologize, as I am affected every day and the emotions run the show.

Nice to know you. I live in the north of Italy and I am working in pathologies due to micro and nanopartciles inhaled or ingested. I think that Chronic fatigue syndrome is due to inhalation of nanopartciles and chemicals . Probably it is possible to demonstrate with an ananlysis of vblood looking for foreign bodies. Antonietta
